SECRET INVASIONS: The risks and impacts of microbial invasions in the Arctic Region
This project investigates microbial communities in Arctic terrestrial and airborne ecosystems. Funded by the SNSF through an Ambizione Fellowship, the project will start in 2025 at the University of Geneva.

ALPINE MICROBIAL COMMUNITIES
In November 2019, I joined the ECOSPAT group at the University of Lausanne to work on the SOMETALP project. I am investigating microbial communities in grassland soils of the Swiss Alps. I am working on bacteria, archaea, fungi and protists using the sequenced DNA of 150 soil samples from the region.

ARCTIC MICROBIAL COMMUNITIES
During my PhD, I was part of the MicroArctic ITN project, funded by the European Commission for Horizon2020. I investigated microbial communities in the Arctic region. I worked primarily of soil bacteria but some of my work involved other groups of microorganisms in Arctic air and snow.
ANTARCTICÂ MICROBIAL COMMUNITIES
This project investigates microbial communities in Antarctic terrestrial and airborne ecosystems. I recently received some funding from the British Antarctic Survey to work in South Georgia. The project is ongoing with results coming out in 2023...
