I'm a microbial ecologist interested in the biogeography and distribution of microorganisms in Alpine and Polar regions. I earned my PhD in microbial ecology at Northumbria University (UK) in 2019 and continued on as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). In 2024, I was awarded an SNSF Ambizione fellowship and started as Principal Investigator of the MicroAdapt Lab at the University of Geneva.
